"Pelagi" is a follow-up to my graduation project (2021) from the education Product Design at the School of the Arts Utrecht. Pelagi is a light object that is made of porcelain. With this object I'm expressing my profound admiration for the beauty, fragility and organic contours of nature. The shapes emerged from my intuitive creativity and repetition created a new unexpected form.

The Pelagi consists of individual link pieces that are illuminated from within, adding an enchanting and fragile dimension to the object. The Pelagi is attached to the ceiling with three wires. Two wires are the electricity wires and the third one makes it possible to hang the object in the desired shape.
